Following the very successful Motor Show and overwhelming response, Lotus Cars were under pressure to deliver the first car promised in the future line up – the famous Lotus Esprit. Just a couple of weeks after the Paris reveal, Miroslav was already on board as a senior exterior designer. He and Paul Murray (lead exterior designer) formed a very strong partnership working on delivering the production version of the vehicle presented in Paris – both of them reporting directly to Chief Designer Russell Carr and Design Director Donato Coco.
With exterior body made of carbon fibre, high revving V8 racing engine, stunning design and with the famous Lotus driving experience – it was going to a magnificent machine! Due to financial difficulties unfortunately the Lotus Esprit Production programme had to be stopped.
