Design Position Updates

Along with some other posts, ┬áthis one too, was loooong overdue! I use this page to give updates on my design positions and projects I am working on, however I’ve been so busy in the last years (and of course having a social life too!) that I had no time to pay attention to my blog and give regular updates. So here are some…

After leaving Aston Martin in the end of 2011, I had the privilege to join the VW Group in January 2012, working in Wolfsburg, Germany. It was a different experience from working in Italy and the UK and I can honestly say I was very impressed by the overall quality of design & projects at VW Group! It is an amazing place for any designer to be in regardless if you’re working on show cars or production vehicles. The only reason I left was because I wanted to return to the UK where I was quite well established…

Back in the UK I joined Jaguar Cars mid 2012 and I’ve been with them ever since. Again I am quite fortunate to be working for┬áJaguar Land Rover while so many projects are happening simultaneously, which is amazing for the British Car Industry…and of course for us, the Designers! Projects I’ve been working on are yet to be presented, so watch this space in the not-so-distant future..

Moving On…

Aston Martin Design Studio

The latest news is that I left Lotus to join another prestigious British Car Manufacturer with focus on design and performance vehicles. In the summer of 2011 I started working for Aston Martin where new challenges lay ahead of me. The new design team seems pretty good and I am looking forward to great results in the future…

I would like to express my gratitude to all my friends and colleagues I met at Lotus Cars, it was an amazing time being in the studio and having fun everyday as we’re building sports cars. You won’t find more friendly environment in the design world that’s for sure! And last but not least important – to be part of the Design Team that shaped the new Lotus line-up presented at the Paris Motor Show last year was unforgettable experience. I had such a great time in Lotus! Thank you all, Love you all!

Below is a picture of the Lotus Design team shortly after the Paris Motors Show 2010.

New Design Position

Busy times recently have kept me away from my blog which has resulted in me not posting here. Just now I have to say I am very proud to announce my new design position. Since January 2010 I joined the design team of Lotus Cars based in England and I am very excited to work for a sports car manufacturer with such a great history. The Lotus Design Team is very professional, as well as very fun and enjoyable to work with. Lotus’ return to Formula One racing is one of the things which indicates the company intensions to return back to glory……

I left Ferrari in December 2009 with positive impressions only. It was an outstanding experience being a part of their design studio and working on projects like Ferrari 599XX, Ferrari 458 Italia and some others you’ll see in the future. I had the opportunity to be surrounded by cars such as F40, F50, Enzos, 430 Scuderia…599s and especially the Classical Beauties. If you have the chance to visit Maranello, make sure that you go to Galleria Ferrari – their museum where you can find their super and F1 cars. Make sure you try their Cafe Espresso too!!!

I take this chance to thank the colleagues I worked with in Ferrari! ….It will be great to see you again!
